who we are

Sportsball Seattle is a place-based media and visual storytelling project rooted in community, culture, and connection.

the story around the game

A person in a white long-sleeved shirt with a Seattle Women's flag football league logo on back, wearing a wide-brimmed hat with sunglasses on top, standing outdoors during sunset.

Sportsball Seattle began as platform to uplift the movement, emotion, and culture sport, and to the athletes and communities often pushed to the margins of how mainstream sports are documented.

As a queer and Indigenous creative, I approach this work with a deep care and interest in belonging and human connection. I am especially drawn to women’s sports and youth sports, where identity, resilience, and self-discovery are on full display.

Whether I am photographing a game, filming a highlight reel, or building a narrative around a team or organization, my goal is to create work that feels grounded and honest. I want the images to hold both movement and meaning, and to create space for a fuller picture of what sports can be.
